Input-output finite time stabilization of linear systems

چکیده
In this paper the problem of input-output finite-time stabilization of linear time-varying systems is dealt with. The classical definition of input-output finite-time stability (IO-FTS) is extended to that one of structured IO-FTS, which allows to incorporate, in the definition of the stabilization problem, some amplitude constraints on the control input variables. A sufficient condition and a necessary and sufficient condition for structured IO finite-time stabilization are provided in the case of L∞ and L2 inputs, respectively. Such conditions require the existence of a solution to a certain differential linear matrix inequality (DLMI). The theory is applied to design the active suspension control system for a two-degree-of-freedom quarter-car model.

Eigenvalue Assignment Of Discrete-Time Linear Systems With State And Input Time-Delays
Time-delays are important components of many dynamical systems that describe coupling or interconnection between dynamics, propagation or transport phenomena, and heredity and competition in population dynamics. The stabilization with time delay in observation or control represents difficult mathematical challenges in the control of distributed parameter systems. It is well-known that the stabi...
متن کاملAdaptive fuzzy pole placement for stabilization of non-linear systems
A new approach for pole placement of nonlinear systems using state feedback and fuzzy system is proposed. We use a new online fuzzy training method to identify and to obtain a fuzzy model for the unknown nonlinear system using only the system input and output. Then, we linearized this identified model at each sampling time to have an approximate linear time varying system. In order to stabilize...
متن کاملDesign of a Novel Framework to Control Nonlinear Affine Systems Based on Fast Terminal Sliding-Mode Controller
In this paper, a novel approach for finite-time stabilization of uncertain affine systems is proposed. In the proposed approach, a fast terminal sliding mode (FTSM) controller is designed, based on the input-output feedback linearization of the nonlinear system with considering its internal dynamics. One of the main advantages of the proposed approach is that only the outputs and external state...
متن کاملFinite time stabilization of time-delay nonlinear systems with uncertainty and time-varying delay
In this paper, the problem of finite-time stability and finite-time stabilization for a specific class of dynamical systems with nonlinear functions in the presence time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainty terms is investigated. Nonlinear functions are considered to satisfy the Lipchitz conditions. At first, sufficient conditions to guarantee the finite-time stability for time-delay nonl...
متن کاملInput–Output Finite Time Stabilization of Time-Varying Impulsive Positive Hybrid Systems under MDADT
Time-varying impulsive positive hybrid systems based on finite state machines (FSMs) are considered in this paper, and the concept of input–output finite time stability (IO-FTS) is extended for this type of hybrid system. The IO-FTS analysis of the single linear time-varying system is given first. Then, the sufficient conditions of IO-FTS for hybrid systems are proposed via the mode-dependent a...
